WALKING -- Roupakias Forest - Souri

 Roupakias Forest - Souri

This walk takes place on the plateau of Souri- Litsarda region. Oakland with some hidden ceddar, carob trees under it... magical route.

Many times can be spotted:  stone walls at both sides of the route. Traditionally built, without cement. Filled with a layer of silvergreen moss.  Near the path can be found many sea squill ( Meditterenean onion).

Also are visible some old waterwells in the landscape.

We started from Xirosterni. Moving to Souri and returning (through the forest),  continued to Kefalas and from there over the asphalt road to Xirosterni again.

This is the entrance from Souri village.
