WALKING --- Kryonerida Cave --- Gorge

 Kryonerida Cave

This is a special place, there is a gorge that is quite easy level/accessible.

You can walk the gorge in 1 hour included the return. The endpoint is the Kryonerida cave itself, where the walking path finishes but the gorge continues.

This is the Kalamato cave, inside the gorge also. Only with a speleology team you can enter and specialised training is required.

Here at the end , we got a chapel ' Ermitis Ioannis' was living there.

VISITING - Stylos Tombs ( Megalo Chorafia)

 Tombs and Minoan Settlement

This tombs and Minoan Settlement are hidden areas, not easy accesible like Knossos palace.

Just some fairly bad road signs will lead you there....

Between the main road of Stylos- Aptera, in Megalo Chorafia... you will find two beautiful Archeological remainals ; 

- a Minoan pottery and 

- a Minoan tomb.

The tomb, in the middle of one olive grove, is quite difficult to find.
