 VISIT -- Dinosauria Park and Museum of Ancient Technology 

This park will be an adventure for children.

It has areas indoor and outdoor, where you find dinosaurs of all sizes from different historical timeframes

Movements of their bodies and imitated sounds are very impressive !

All dinosaurs are clearly documented with small information sheets.

On the last area you will find some introduction about the appearance of the first humans and couple of quizzes and games.

Ancient Technology Museum

As an electromechanical engineer this was one absolute 'must'.

Several different ancient inventions were displayed. 

Above the first fire -extinguisher.

Weapons for defence.

Principle of hydraulics to control one waterorgan.

Steam power was invented by the greeks ! This was one torpedo - rocket on steam power.

Hydraulics have been used for measuring time.

First turning-device for wood crafting.

VISIT - Rethymnon Fortress and City Park

 Rethymnon Fortress and City Park

At   this day it was just a discovery of the Italian

 'Fortalezza' and downtown Rethymnon (city park, small Christmas shops

... )

It was a challenge to take our 5 month puppy ( French Bulldog) on a full day trip..

but we noticed his adaptive capacities are incredible. After an intensive day he felt asleep in the car.

The weather was sunny with strong south winds .

The city park is a very interesting area, having some statues of historical greek figures, providing shade and seating area.

It functions as 'Botanical park' .... holding over 100's of  sub-tropical species of plants and trees, most of them native.

Besides it works educational, showing information panels about the reproduction mechanism of plants etc.
