It means, the ART is to MANAGE driving out, find a GAP between sets of WAVES , that are bumping to your backside and pushing you back towards the beach LIKE GIANT DEVILS. .. For this the wind must have ENOUGH power IN RELATION to the wave power !
Once you are over the BRAKING ZONE, mostly with a couple of jumps , continuously speeding up the board to have POWER to jumping OVER the waves (not to stuck inside), then you have a MARVELOUS open bay to play and drive .
